As summer begins to soften and the days gently shift towards autumn, this Late Summer Sound Bath is an invitation to pause and savour the last of the season.
A chance to slow down, reflect on all that summer has brought, and create a little space before stepping into the season ahead. Settle into your cosy nest, allow yourself to be held by sound, and simply rest, receive and restore.
A deeply restorative 90-minute Sound Bath designed to help you slow down, settle your nervous system and experience deep rest through the soothing sounds and vibrations of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls and gong.
Life can be wonderfully full, and equally busy. A Sound Bath is an invitation to step away from the noise for a while, retreat into stillness and give your whole system permission to slow down.
You'll be invited to get warm and comfortable, lie back and simply receive as you are immersed in the sounds and vibrations of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls and gong.
There is nothing you need to achieve and nowhere else you need to be.
Sound provides a gentle focus for the mind, while lying quietly, slowing the breath and receiving sound creates an opportunity to move away from constant stimulation and towards deep rest.
Many people leave feeling calmer, lighter, deeply rested and more connected to themselves.
No previous experience of yoga, meditation or Sound Baths is necessary.
Event Details:
Duration: 90 minutes
Investment: £20
Experience: No previous experience required, everyone* is welcome (*please see contraindications below)
Every Sound Bath is different, and there is no particular way you are supposed to feel.
You may experience:
Deep physical and mental relaxation
A quieter, less busy mind
A sense of your nervous system settling
Release of physical tension
Greater awareness of your body and breath
A feeling of spaciousness, clarity or emotional reset
Deep rest — some people even drift off to sleep
Most importantly, you don't need to do anything. This is an opportunity to simply pause, receive and rest.
You'll be lying down for most of the Sound Bath, so please bring everything you need to feel warm and completely comfortable:
Yoga mat
Blanket(s)
Pillow
Cushions or bolster, if you have them
Warm layers
Anything else that helps you create your own cosy little sanctuary
The warmer and more comfortable you are, the easier it is to completely let go.
1. I've never been to a Sound Bath before. Is that okay?
Absolutely. No experience is necessary. You'll be guided into the session and then your only job is to get comfortable, close your eyes if you wish, and receive the sounds.
2. Do I need to be able to do yoga?
No. There is no physical yoga practice involved. You will primarily be resting comfortably on your mat.
3. What if I fall asleep?
That's absolutely fine! It is very common to drift in and out of sleep during a Sound Bath.
4. Are Sound Baths suitable for everyone?
Sound Baths are not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy. If you have epilepsy, a pacemaker, severe tinnitus or sound sensitivity, have recently undergone surgery, or have any significant health concerns, please contact me before booking so we can discuss whether the session is appropriate for you.
5. What is your cancellation policy?
Bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, please contact me as soon as possible. Where sufficient notice is given and I am able to refill your space, I will do my best to transfer your booking to a future Sound Bath.
Come exactly as you are.
Bring your blankets, make yourself cosy, close your eyes and allow yourself 90 minutes in which nothing is required of you.
More than simply listening to sound, this is an opportunity to step away from everyday life for a while and be nourished by rest, stillness and sound.
With love,
Bonnie
